towball: i have one of these planes (3d version) and i have a friend putting it together for me, would you think that a Brison 2.4 (40cc) would be able to haul this plane around pretty well? What was the AUW on the edge with the MVVS 45. I too have been looking for resources and info on this plane but could not find anything.

I beleive you can get them from Bob Violet. Try www.bvmprops.com. They get a lot of money for this plane $900.00 to $1,000.00.

You can still get the 35% from Planes Plus, unless she sold out of them.

Yes this is the main question, the model looks awesome but the price and the lack of information are a problem.....

Hi Rking

The AUW we dont know yet as the plane is not finished. It goes together great, everything fits very well. Should test fly in about a month, as the guy I am helping is insterstate at the moment.

I will have the plane in my workshop in about 2 weeks so I will take some pictures and post them.

The price on these models is up there but it is worth the money. The finish and the way they go together is worth paying for. IN Australia I have to retail these at $1350-$1600 depending on finish as the freight and import duties are high.

thanks towball. here is a picture i did pick up from the malaysian forum in rcu. i guy from singapore has one of these planes with a da50 on it.

The 2x2 I am helping put together would have the room for smoke. The tank is designed to sit on the wing tube but there is room on the floor for another tank if you are not running a cannister. If you run a muffler then there would be room.

I did find some pics we had taken.

I have only seen it at model shows here for sale. They were not put together with radios and engines, just empty planes.

Thanks for the pics, now it seems more clear, what I do not understand is the space from the engine and the support.As you know the DA stand off are 2" long, is there the space for this setup? (DA+standard stand off).
Unfortunatly I have to wait 2 months for having the purple scheme. Hope this model worth this waiting time
