I would also like to point out to the skeptics that that is also a big carbon fiber prop up in front of that big metal motor that is in front of the extremelink system that is installed in a composite airframe. I didn't see any loss of radio control - I'm sold!
Pleas start taking preorders!!!

I noticed the site said that there will be a telemetry system available too that will be able to mount where the old antenna was. I cant wait until all this stuff comes out. very exciting

I see one problem with this system!!

How are the people who seem to find mother earth so frequently with their prop going to use the excuse............"I got shot down!!" "Someone must have turned on their transmitter"...............again............it "Always happens too me!!"

Yeah right......lol

This thing will fly off the shelves in a hurry!

It is amazing to me that 72 mhz has lasted this long with technology pounding on our door for 15 years recently... Good work guys.

It's amazing that there aren't more people posting here - I would way rather spens a couple hundred to use the transmitter I already have and be flying 2.4ghz by early next year than to await the unknown arrival of a DX-9, which will render my 9303's obsolite to the point that I can't even give them away, and end up spending another $600+ on a complete system.

You should read the RCU thread, it is full of haters and non-believers. All I needed was to see the video, and wish there was a list to get on as well.

Is there any idea just what the cost would be for the unit?

I really can't believe more people aren't all over this thread, this is without a doubt the greatest innovation for RC in a long time

This new technology must be good since nobody has commented on Darcy's shorts in the video..
Looking forward to hearing more progress with the system. Definitely interested in picking one up.

I'm excited about it. Just don't get over here much and the babble at RCU would make someone sick. Keep it coming!

Last I read was under $200 for the module and one 8ch receiver. You can upgrade to a 10ch receiver as well. The receiver is also small enough to fit in most park flyers and larger foamies.

Here's the cost right out of the horses mouth:

MSRP will be $179 for your choice of transmitter module (JR, Hitec, Futaba) and one 8 channel receiver. Add $20 for the 10 channel receiver instead of the 8 channel receiver. The telemetry add-on will be $129. 8 channel receivers will be $99, 10 channel receivers will be $119, and 16 channel receivers will be $149 (not available until next year).
