Default 50cc size ARF ready for full tuned pipe?

Are there any 50cc sized ARF's that will accept a full length tuned pipe?

Thanks, Jamie

The Aeroworks 50cc ARFs will. I'd like to do the Extra 260 with a DA 50 on an ES Composites tuned pipe.

The Yaks are out of stock and the 260's dont seem to have enough wing for the extra weight.

there wouldn't be any reason to add the extra weight in the extra 260, because i have one w/ a DA 50 on stock muffs, and it is a rocket for a 50cc!

I want to experiment with a tuned pipe on a Taurus 50. That WILL add weight to the plane.

Look into the Wild Hare Extra 300. I know he put room for a canister and you may be able to do a tuned pipe since the wing tube would be higher. I'm not sure if you would run into any obstacles though. The wing area is also around 1360 sq. in. I think. I'm not sure what the Air Wild Extra 260, but it's another plane to look in to.

The Ultra Yak does look awesome. As for the Aeroworks 260. I think that if you went with the composite pipe that Ben mentioned, the added weight would be minimal. If you went with a lightweight lipo setup for batteries, lightweight CF spinner, all CF stuff and the bare essentials of electronics, I think you could get away with 16.5 pounds or less, which wouldn't be too bad.

How is the es pipe holding up to Gas engine heat? They don't hold up to the heat of a YS 140.

The ES pipes are holding up well, I know of one setup on a DA 100 that has a hundred flights or more on it with no problems, and the guys running zdz 40s with them are happy campers as well.
