Default A thank you to The TAS organizers...

Dear. Mr. Johnson, and associated sponsors,

I would like to take a minute out of a busy schedule to say Thank You for the hard work, and outstanding job you guys did with the Tucson Aerobatic Shootout. It is great people like you in this hobby that make all the time spent tinkering worth while. A great hobby is always made better by promoting and attending these great events you so unselfishly put tremendous energy, and effort into, making it one of the premier events to attend in the United States. Without the effort, pilots from an international contingent wouldn’t even dream of being part of the TAS. How awesome is it, that oceans, and landmass can separate the group as a whole with a common interest, but convene together in a mass of common ideality and have a great time meeting and befriending new comrades? My attendance to the TAS has become an annual event, each year I grow more anxious as the time grows closer. One word can describe this event, and that is OUTSTANDING! From a spectator’s point of view, it offered everything from entertainment value, to the thrill of contest scoring. From a media standpoint, plenty of photo space was allotted, and freedom of movement was excellent. Everything was very organized, and the pilots were more than accommodating to our candid style of photography. Once again, a thank you goes out to everyone, and we’ll see you next year !

Big props as well from The FlyingGiants Staff and Crew to the organizers of the event!! Mike Marcellin, and Dave Johnson, you guys waaay outdid yourselfs, and put on a fantastically organized, world class event! Anna Wood & Linda Jesky, I don't know of two other people out there who could keep the scores intact in such an efficient manner, and be able to provide realtime results in the way that you did. Anna, you are my programming god and mentor, and your work is absolutely unbelievable!

Michael Cummins, TIMPA President - allways had a smile on his face, and kept the facility, parking, and of course us motorhome folks well taken care of and organized.

The Tucson Aerobatic Shootout is the last big event of the year, and definately one of my favorite. I've enjoyed the past 3 years of attendance, and every year it just keeps getting better and better!

I would also like to thank the organizers for having The FlyingGiants in attendance, and for allowing us to be a part of the action.

A sincere thanks and props to all of the organizers and the pilots. Can't wait 'till the next one

MD
