Those pics must be from when I first finished it. That tank has never had any fuel in it! I have since moved the reciever forward, off of the emcotec. But other than that, it balanced perfect for me as is.

Thanks tank. I think my set-up is going to be a little bit more liike your. Because i have a power expander AND a super reg. And i have to think about where to put the super reg. I like how you mounted the emcotec. I think i will have to do the same thing except for my power expander and super reg....

Inward most and outward most.

Tony, Ill try to get you picks of the other 37.5% Yak with the Smartfly Expander in it. I just happen to have experience with that setup in a 37.5% as well.

How is the CG with your setup - were you at a slightly aft or forward CG ???

No idea. Only CG check I have done ( and all I do with all my larger airplanes) is pick the airplane up by the wingtube with the wings off and see just make sure the tail doesnt drop quickly to the ground. From here, I fly the airplane trim it. I then pull a 45 upline, roll inverted, and if it tucks slightly to the canopy from inverted, that is exactly where I want my CG-just my personal preference. Im not sure where recommended is and where I sit at in relation to it.... sorry.

Are you guys going to use the removable rudder method???? It seems ALOT more convinient. I just stuck the rod in the hinges and through the counter balance and it looks like its the way i am going to install the rudder....

Nah, I made my rudder permanent. I used Klett hinges and added two for extra strength.

Ok guys, the site is up and running. We are just going to use the SD-Model.com site for now and see how it goes. I do know we need to get the color schemes up that are ready, and some other stuff. We do have planes instock, and the accessories will be here shortly we hope along with more planes. Feel free to email me at sales@sd-model.com
