Wow AandP- heli's rarely move me (FWIWorth) but this chopper is BOSS.
(if I dare be constructively critical tho after all that- some weathering and such would (IMO) would throw this well inot TOP GUN finals hands down - and make a template to paint you own scale runway stripes for the tarmac shot! ) GREAT JOB!!

I'd love to see some inside shots of the engine and radio set up - if you have a mind to ! Your photography is RIGHT ON too - love the back drops!

Thanks Jaguar Bone,

As good as it may look I'm far from done. It will be weathered once it's painted. The gray is primer. I'm adding all the rivet and surface detail. The exhaust I had to scratch build. The power plant was a 29cc gas engine. Wasn't enough power, had to go turbine.

Go HERE for the build.

This is my 1/4 scale BUSA DR1. Pictures were taken at a mall show last year and the plane had not been maidened at that point. Since then it has flown 30+ missions. Typical triplane takeoff and landing issues but it flies like a cub. Zenoah G45 and a TME smoke system

I just purchased a "kut-kit" of the the 101" w.s Mig 3.
Wanted this airframe for over 20 years. War birds live on in the heart - not just on the TV. Sometimes you just gotta let er go and finally DO IT!!

(Wish I had contact info with the person who built this jewel! in the picture)
Plan to hire on local talent to get her in the air That will assure it actually gets built!

Has anyone ever seen the Roaman' Research Mig 3 fly?
