Default Control surface wibble wobble??????

Hey guys,

I need help! I Have a 30% AM yak and I am using JR 8411 servos for the ailerons and the elevators.Whenever I do a low pass I can see the control surface wobble. Also when ever I move the control surface w/ my finger (with the airplane on) I also notice the there is some play @ the ball joint. I have the SWB double loc arms on but it still does it. That tells me all the play is in the ball joint....I guess? Will some body tell me if this is a common thing or if it needs to be fixed
Also, The play @ th elevator measures at 1/16 of an inch.

Thanks. A.J.

Sounds like flutter.

8411's develop slop over time. De-attach the linkage and move the arm to check for slop. Sounds like gear slop inside the servo. I don't think a ball link would have slop otherwise it wouldn't work.

I guess if the play is not in the servo itself. then i would replace the ballends.

I don't think it's the ball joints, but the gears are getting sloppy. I take it these are used 8411s ? If you can move them with the plane turned on they may need a new gear set. Also do you have the right geometry from servo are to control arm?
