I strongly encourage everyone to learn to read Aresti. Written narratives are a recipe for disaster. I cannot tell you how many times I have seen a pilot get all twisted up by a caller trying to read a written narrative.

Aresti is SO simple, and even fun, and it is a skill all aerobatic pilots should have.

Judge is correct, Aresti is important. The narrative is helpful in the learning process and can be used as a way to verify the learning process.

Wayne,
I hate to second guess the master but...isn't #9 in sportsman a vertical downline with 2 of 4 and not a 45? The upline is 45 deg.

Your correct.
The line down is vertical. Not a 45 like I typed.
I'll change it.

Thanks.
