Well, perhaps the 260 flies better and that's why everyone has it...I could reinforce the crap out of a giant telemaster, give it bigger control surfaces and put a DA-50 in it just to be different, but what's the point if it won't fly as well as the planes that everyone else has? Nothing against the BME (got my eye on it as well), but the Aeroworks 260 has obviously been a hit, and if Sprice is on a budget, like me, he wants to get the best bet for his money. If money were no object, I'd probably have both...

I just bought one with 8 flights on it, with a BME 110. The guy moved up to 100cc stuff, & decided to move back down. Too bad for him, but provided great opportunity for me to get my first 100 cc plane.
The web & internet pictures of the 37% Ultimate don't do it justice. It is absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to fly mine. |

If you plan on serious IMAC competition, I'd get the 260 & not look back.
If you are a biplane kind of guy, you won't be satisfied until you have one. Good luck. |

I finally got the tank area cleaned out. I can fit a 40 oz Dubro & a 32 oz Dubro side by side for gas & smoke. Any opinions? Inoticed Ken H said he went to a 32 oz tank for the fuel. How long flight times do you get with 32 oz fuel? Also, how long can I expect on 32 oz of smoke oil? Could I get by with 24 oz for smoke oil? Again, this is my first 100 cc endeaver & first try at smoke. Any help greatly appreciated- thanks.

32 oz should be fine for both fuel and smoke. You can use a lot of smoke oil in a hurry if you leave it on rather than intermittenly. I don't know if they will fit side by side but you can fit another tank down in the hole near the lower wing tube. Good luck, Ken |

Nothing flies like an Ultimate, why do you think they named it what it is ULTIMATE!!! This plane is awesome, no other bipe has ever won the TOC except Chip Hyde with an Ultimate. If you buy one you will not regret it, the extra time at the field is worth it all when it take to the air.
