I had a smaller ultimate and it was one of the best planes I have ever owned. A bit more of a handful in the air than something smooth like the 260, but so much fun to fly. Harriers are awesome and spin manuevers never get old. You can't go wrong with either, but the ultimate will be more fun!

we have a bme ulty and it is simply awesome... we have a 3w 100 on smoke muffs and it is absolutely unlimitied verticle and hovers at hardly any throttle. everyone is right on this thread when they say that the utlys are show stoppers. i just ordered the 46% H9 and can't wait to get that one in the air. you feel like you are putting on your own airshow everytime you fire them up..... the other guys just watch!!!!!

as this is an old thread, i'm sure which ever plane you chose is flying and you are enjoying.... if it wasn't the ultimate, get one now!!!!! you'll NEVER regret it!

just my $.02

I've got both planes now!

Can't wait to finish both of them up and only have to chose which to bring to the field.......oh wait my trailer can hold both.....so now its upto which to fly first!

It just keeps getting pushed back.

The P-47 is about 2 weeks away from paint.

The 35% 260 covering should be here on the 15th.

I also have a jet to build and an Edge to put electronics into.

I need some helpers!!!!

I flew an AW about 2yrs ago in IMAC and I've flown Ken H's Ulti in Vegas at the Huckfest.

I like them both but for different reasons. The 260 is very stable and good for a backup IMAC plane. The Ulti is a good 3-D and crowd WOWer because its a bi-wing.

As for JOW.......I'll be there but I may not have a jet ready by then, still no word on delivery of my turbine.
