Just a rumor. He said he read it on another site. He will send me the link tonite and I will post it. I am thinking of a new radio, but like Jr and don't really want to switch brands. I really don't want to get a 10x if a new one is just around the corner.

I heard it was a all out 15 channel developed in part by Nasa, it apparently has the same Tech. as the Spread Spectrum has but Line of Sight Range...Another feature is its ability to play music, and a Basic Telemetry System, all thats needed is the Multiple sensors...
I can see many advantages of such a radio...cant wait |

And it going to have the latest Macintosh IPOD VIDEO built right in so you can watch your FG videos while your flyin at the field. Imagine being able to take Maxons future ground school vids out to the field right in your handy JR14RAX and watch those close up detailed manouvres while your trying trying to do tail touches. Wow slowmo video, instant replay.
Wow maybe it needs a good 3ccd video camera built in it so you can post your crashes without the need of a buddy to drive your cameras for you. Serious stuff guys, cool ideas???? Quique you taking notes on what we need in the next radio mate. Kiwi |

I've heard all of the above, exept it's a 24 channel. However, there are some snags they are trying to sort out, such as:
1. When using the harder springs on the gimbles, the sticks break, but JR believes that's the users fault. 2. The bearings in the gimbles appear to develop premature slop. Jr are considering including an extra set of bearings and instructions for the owner to change them. The warranty will then be void, so JR wins two for one. 3. They have worked on a special range checking module, whereby the user can check if single conversion or dual conversion works better at their particular field. All tests show dual conversion winning, but JR doesn't want to stop producing their single conversion, so there's a snag. The above does NOT reflect any issues I may have with JR .

Great job KIWI, just got off the transmitter with QQ, he said he'd either email of fax me the info when he was finished programing the roll coupling out of the 4 planes he was flying at once, through his onboard pilot view set up. I didn't know they had a fax in the new 15. Hmmm,
