I just spoke with JR Japan, they are definately going to produce a 27 mhz AM 23 channel radio.
JR=Junior...for a reason. Futaba=Father

There must be a lot of guys using that radio around here, I see a ton of guys who only have two throttle settings (slow and fast). Great for pylon, crap for IMAC.

It would seem that this is an awkward time for radio manufactures. Even though I am sure there will be a DSM module for our existing radios being the first to have an itegrated spread spec pro radio will be the top of the pyramid.

Looks like it still maybe a year away for new high-end radio from JR. I might have to go to the Futaba 14MZ.

Its JR's new technology... JR 16 STV
"Site Thought Vectoring" As you glance just ahead of the plane the radio tracks your field of vision, with a pair of optically calibrated eye sensor Sun glasses, also the glasses have a microphone, to input voice commands, So basically you look where you want the plane to be.. and voice a command, or series of commands. Such as : one and a half snap to vertical line 45 deg. to water fall, to blender , pull out at 10 feet, (receiver has built in altimeter) into rolling harrier to the left. i don't know though, seems to take the fun out of flying.
