Can't wait!

and it looks like I can keep my Yak as a backup/freesytle plane!

Looks like I will be flying my same plane from 2006. A 40% Carden 330. I will be building a 260 during the year, but that probably will be my 2008 plane.

Troy Built/Roman Built 35% Extra 260. Just under 24 lbs with DA 100. Only item left before maiden is cooling baffles for the cowl.

Wayne - I didn't know Carden made a 300. Is it a modified 260?

Aviti,

The Carden 300 is a new design. There are a few prototypes being built now. Mine included. I should have a build thread started here on FG in a day or so.

The changes to this plane as compared to the 260 are:
Longer canopy,
Curved gear,
Higher turtledeck,
Increased rudder area.
