Default Clip and Flip sunglasses

Just wanted to share a product that I think is uber cool(as Biff would say). I wear glasses due to a strong astigmitism and contacts are out of the question. I've spent hundreds of dollars on prescription sunglasses but still can't use them. I stumbled across these nifty things in sportys catalouge. I mainly bought them for work, but started using them flying RC also and they're great.

That is why I'm glad I finally switched to contacts. Now I can wear sunglasses. I remember The days of the clip on flip-ups that made it look like you had a 4 leaf clover on your face when they were flipped up. LOL

Thats why these are great, you really can't see them when they're flipped up under your hat. Unfortunatley, I can't wear contacts because my astigmitism is so bad.

I've thought about it alot, but I'm afraid actually. With my luck I'd be one of the few that has a problem with it and "POOF" there goes my career.

Jim, did your eye doctor tell you that you could not wear contacts? If so, have you had a second opinion. The reason I ask is that I had the same problem (astigmatism) and my eye doctor told me I could not wear contacts because of it, so I went on wearing glasses. I had to change doctors when my old one moved and my new eye doctor told me it was no problem to get contacts. This was back in '97 or so and I am still wearing contacts to this day. My first ones were Preference Toric and I now wear B&L Pure Vision Toric. Both lenses are very comfortable with the new B&L's being much better for your eyes.
Just a thought.
