Here are some pics. The plane is called T30 Katana and the designer is Italian Pietro Terzi.

Uggh, I like the models, but that is one ugly bird there. The main thing that kills it is the landing gear and the inset elevators, other than that it wouldn't be so bad.

The full size looks lllooooooooaaaaaaaadddddddddsssssssss better than any model, the only model that actually comes close to its full glory is the airworld one:

http://www.airworld.online.de/Englisch/Index.htm

The funtanas and krill models etc. look crap in comparison

I'm not really sure what are you trying to point out.
I think there is a big difference when you compare models that are meant to look scale I mean in detail (rivets, cockpit, beacons, etc)vs proportion and models that are specificaly designed for IMAC. None of those models follow the aerodynamic lines of their full scale counterparts exactly to the dot. If you, for instance scale down full size Katana to 33% as it is, I don't think you'd be able to fit DA100 in the nose. And there is a lot of problems like this with few full scale designs. I don't think Krill's Katana look crap. Just have a look at this year's XFC. That says it all.

I like the plane have a 40% stans fiber tec Katana It looks the most like the T 30 to me of all the models. Im growing more fond of it every time I fly, it goes down the same speed as up and draws good lines. this thing is a 3d monster just shove the sticks and it will get it. check it out on 3dbatix.com Zak West is flying it in video( wish I flew as good as him) would love to take the credit but cant. If anyone knows of more stans fiber tec Katana's out their would like to talk about IMAC setup.

I think I heard from Dan at Zivko that the full scale K was skinned with aluminium, making it quite doggish. You won't find any modern plane that is not composite or fabric covered.

Thanks for the pics Fredo! I could sort of see the RC version
on the original. No full size flying for me Brian as long as
I'm married. My wife's brother-in-law was killed a couple of
years ago when his Bonanza hit the side of a mountain.
