Default $125 Mustang

Just ordered one of these, not sure why. Probably cause its so cheap and I've got a draw full of glow motors collecting dust. Got it from www.nitroplanes.com . It's kinda funny too when you realize you can buy a whole airplane for the cost of a single servo in one of our big gassers.

No flaps from what I understand, does include retracts which I'm sure are junk anyway and it's a .60 size. I'm slapping a .91 in it though cause thats what I have. Wingspan I believe is 66".

The plane just arrived and I've got to say I'm completely surprised. I thought for sure when I paid $125 for a ARF it was gonna be ok, and that was it. I've done a cursory inspection so far, but from what I've seen it's actually very, very nice looking. It seems to be covered with some type of chinakote, and the retracts don't look like they'll hold up too good and it definitley won't win any scale contests but hell, it was only $125.

I've got a old set of Robart retracts from a TF P-51 that look like they'll drop right in, along with the oleo struts and nice wheels it'll really help this bird out. So far I'm actually very happy with it.

While waiting on my covering to come in so I could finish my Yak, I finally got around to doing some work on this thing. I'm still blown away that it was only $125. The quality really is quite good and I actually don't mind the chinakote stuff on it. It's easy to shrink up.

Instructions are more of a vague pictorial on what to do, but it's just basic arf assembly here. Nothing fancy at all. I'm looking forward to beating the crap out of this thing.

Keep the pics coming throughout the build. As for the manual I wouldn't really care about that as I do things differently most of the time anyways. Can't wait to see how it flys.
