Yes more pics please. I want to hear what you think of that motors performance also. There are not too many reviews on that one. The orange is sweet. My buddy has the green 30 cc yak and that is a cool color too.

The batteries are just about where the fuel tank would be. The motor is great and I have had no issues at all. After a 5 min flight the batteries are just a little warm and the motor is not even warm. The power setup is living a pretty good life. This thing is off the hook when it comes to power. It would be crazy with a 25X10 or 25X12

The control horns are not in line with the hinge line but Tim at Redwing RC assures me that it will be fine. This is the way they are flying there planes. Personally I've never seen the control horns off-set from the hinge line in all my years. I had to enlarge the slot in the servo panels in the wings as the slots where not cut far enough over for clearance for the servo arms to operate. I tried an Airtronics and Hitec servo and still had the issue so I assume the slots are wrong.
What arming switch did you use? I have a similar setup and don't know what to use.

These are flying out the door lately (pun sorta intended )

More and more people are getting wind (pun not intended, lol) about how great these fly.

we also have a new set of wings for them to convert it to an Edge! so you can fly either a slick or an Edge with the same motor and majority of gear! Pretty cool

Look for it to arrive around Oct

Got a few more flights in on my 50cc Slick 540. Just a sweet flying plane with tons of power. Anyone else flying an Electric setup with the Redwing RC 50cc slick 540

Hey Zippi

I haven't heard of anyone else doing it, but it's certainly a light enough airframe to do so. But everyone does seem to have the same reaction to you on this plane. "Sweet flying plane!"
Glad you are liking it.

Any video of your E set up in action?

Next time I'm out I'll see if I can find someone that knows how to use a camera.
