Default Northern SE IMAC '07 primer / bootcamp

Hello all,
Any of you straight line junkies in the NC / VA part of the region interested in an informal, or formal bootcamp / primer? (Or know of people who might be interested in IMAC but have not had the chance to get some direction on getting started?)

Hey Ty,
I would like to meet up and get some help for Alex and I just say when and where. I'm sure Josh Bunn will want to come also. I can probably come up with a few more.

Hey Kent,
I'd be happy to come down to your area for weekend some time. Right now I'm thinking maybe toward the end of Feb would give a chance at some decent weather. If Josh would let us use his shop space we can spend some time indoors going through aircraft setups ans discussing things that don't require use of the field . . . and then get down to burning some gas later or the following day. Just some ideas, let me know what you guys would like to do. Lets keep in touch about this.

Ok, Sounds as though there's going to be enough interest to make this go. Josh, if we can, lets set a tentative date of Feb 24, 25. If you and Kent can be the liasons on your end that would be great. For anyone who thinks they'd plan to attend, please send me a pm that includes material / content you'd like to have covered and an email address, I'd like to get an idea of numbers.
Pale, I may do one in our area as well if I can drum up enough interest - you out there Steve and FWB - straight lining can be fun ;- If there ins't a lot of interest then you and I can meet some time if you'd like - you ever pick up Saddler's new bird?

This sounds great... I'm out by Greensboro and can probably get a few of us to join in.

Josh, thanks for bringing some of your crew out to support our "gifts for kids" fly-in this past weekend.

My plane should be together by then!

Ty,

Count me in too - I'd love to do the SC thing. Remember that I'm now in Lynchburg, and I've finally found a decent field for GS planes - plenty of room for practicing, no neighbors to worry about, and a great club. The runway is plenty big, but there's an abandoned barn at one end that may spook some pilots. If you ever have any interest in coming out this way (south central VA) let me know.

Hey Pete, good to hear from ya.
Ok, all those intersted please drop me a pm (or add you name to the list below) so I can start to get an idea of numbers. Also, looks as though we'll have to move the date a little, perhaps a week or two earlier to avoid a conflict with a another "not yet announced happening." From memory here's who has expressed and interest . . .
Kent & Alex
Josh B.
Patrick
Matt & father

Thanks Kent,
I would also like to hear from people regarding what they personally would like to get from the session. I expect there will be a variety of experience levels, and I want to make sure there will be something for everyone. Pete, did I hear you offering to lend your expertise?
