As usual, the best part of a weekend of flying is making new friends and I definitely did that. I could hang out with every one of these guys. Despite the weather we got a fair amount of flying in and some good classroom time when we needed to warm up.

Thanks Ty for pulling it all together and thanks to Sr and Jr Huntsinger (Flying Woodbutcher).

As for the facilities- we are all jealous. Jr and Sr are definitly living the dream. A private field with a large hanger- just roll your plane out and fly!

I hope to see everyone at at least one contest this year- and extend a special invite to everyone to come up (or down for some of you) to Maryland that last weekend in August for our contest (CAPI).

Thanks to the Huntsingers for hosting, and to Ty, Dave, and Pete for sharing their knowledge and expertise with the rest of us. Matt and I learned a lot.

However, the best thing was sharing time with others that have the same interests. It was all fun. Braving the cold was absolutely worth it. We hope to see you guys at a few contests this year.

This past weekend was absolutely AWESOME!!! Thanks to all for such a great learning experience. Ty, Dave, Pete, Sr & Jr Huntsinger etc.. Thanks also to Kent Porter for teaching me how to call. Events like these keep this hobby going. I have a new found respect for IMAC like never before. I was humbled with precision flying I witnessed from a great group of guys. The hospitality was bar none! Great pictures slowhuck.

Thanks,
Tony Williams

Got to meet a great bunch of guys this past weekend. Kent H - thanks for the hospitality - you are living my dream, man!!!

There was a lot of great information passed around, and I hope we will have some new "converts" to IMAC that we'll see at upcoming contests! Just a plug for the contests - remember that the FARM contest (northern VA) is May 26& 27; also I am CD'ing a contest in Hollywood MD (southern MD) April 14 & 15. Also in May for you northern SE guys, there is a contest in Centreville, MD (a GREAT field to fly at). See the NE & SE sections of the IMAC website for details, or shoot me a pm. Gotta put that new knowledge to work!!

Thanks again to Ty & Dave for setting this up, and all you lunatics who came out to freeze with us!

Pete

Hey, Mr. H! Welcome to the party! You've got lots 'n lot's of fans here. Be careful with the offers. You could end up with the ENTIRE Giants membership camped out in your front yard. Then you, Kent and Jamie would hardly ever get to fly!!!
