We need to make a video of that, in the true FG spirit!

Speaking of Jamie, with a handle like "Bat Fastard" I was expecting some big obese guy, not a scrawny runt.

Is May 6 Mother's day? Would that still work? I'd really have to kiss up to the wife to have her let me go play that day...

The next weekend is Mother's day. You can kiss up to her then.

Before we get too ahead of ourselves, keep in mind that it takes some time to organize and sanction a contest properly. Has anyone volunteered to CD? Also, for anyone who might be going to the Nall the following weekend, it is a hard sell sometimes to get both weekends and the week in between off.

How about the weekend of Oct 20 . . . Oct offers some great flying weather, lots of space in the schedule, and plenty of time to properly plan and promote.

Dave,
I'll volunteer to CD it. We'll need at least 45 days for the sanction. Other than that, it's just promoting it and doing it.

Jerry/Kent can make the call on the date, but for me June 23 works well. There's a week between that and the Camden contest, and it's a week or two breather before the NATS.

I guess it would also be nice for someone to step up and coordinate the food. We should be able to cover trophies and food on the entry fee, along with expenses for the swiped porta-potty and other misc.

Pete

June 23 is okay. We can handle the site. But someone else will need to be "in charge", and do the promotion and adminstration and all the other good stuff that goes along with such an event.
