Alright folks, thanks to Woodbutcher's generosity and hospitality we have a site and set dates: Feb 17, 18 at FWB's private field in Ashland VA (about 25 minutes north of Richmond) - bring your woolies and your chairs. The session will include both classroom time and flying time. I need to start building a confirmed list of pilots, so, if you know you're going make it please add your name to the list below:
1) Kent Porter 2) Alex Porter 3) Kent Huntsinger - aka - woodbutcher 4) Josh Bunn 5) Pride Grimm 6) Matt Richards 7) Bob Richards 8) Rodney . . . I would also like do another session later in the year on a non-contest weekend, so if you can't make this one keep an eye open for another session. t __________________ ZDZ Engines RC Showcase Carden Aircraft Looks like there is still room. Just FYI - Wayne has announced a judging school held in Augusta GA on March 3/4 2007. We will be graciously hosted by the Trenton Radio Control Association <http://www.flytrca.org/> whose field we will be using for the Sunday's
Practical Judging session. The Judging School will be held at Double Tree Augusta, in Augusta Georgia & we will be setting up a web-page shortly with the reservations information for both the Hotel & also the classes. There will be two (2) segments in the classes on Saturday which will have a "break-away" session for an Advanced class & the regular class for participants who have not been to a Judging School previously. As mentioned above, Sunday will entail practical judging experience in the fine art of judging. If you really want to hone your judging skills, this seminar would be the place to do it. I think Ty's concept was more of a flying seminar - trimming, working on geometry of figures, points deductions, etc. Ty, is that what you had in mind? Maybe post a tentative agenda? Pete
