DUDE. . . . . . Absolutely!!! If you are paying for the old plane, you BETTER get to keep it . . ALL of it. .every last scrap, paint flake, and piece of trim coating. Anything less would be. . uncivilized. I think it's way beyond the call of duty that BW has already publicly acknowedged his willlingness to come to a proper settlement. There are two ways to proceed. . Cut the guy a break, because it was an ACCIDENT, and come to reasonable terms that gets you back flying just as well as before. . OR, you can keep complaining and slinging mud, in which case I don't think anyone in the Hobby would give you a thin dime. Attitude goes a long way toward successful resolution of a situation like this. LazyboyFlyer. . .you need to check all the "I am a victim" attitude at the door. That's not how things are done, and quite frankly I am starting to resent your whining and kvetching. An offer has been made. . . I suggest the interested parties sit down. . have a few cold ones. . relax, and come to terms. Being greedy is not going to get an entirely new plane and total setup. . coming to an understanding that gets you back flying, with as good of equipment as was in the plane before the mishap will be the best alternative in this case. If all else fails. . you are welcome to litigate this before a civil claims judge. However. . I'm SURE we are all ADULT enough to not have to go that route. . . or to have this silliness clogging up a perfectly good thread on a fine aircraft. I really think both parties need to take this entire discussion. . PRIVATE. I'll "Lame Post" any more posts from either party mentioning this affair. It's gone too far. It needs to stop. . NOW.

NOW THEN. . . .
Ahem .. BAck on thread here. . . . I'm very much interested in the WH 300 for IMAC. I've been shooting myself in the foot lately, trying to make planes that are not up to the task competitive in Advanced in the SE region in IMAC. I keep getting told. . by good friends. . that I'm beating my head against a wall by doing so. So. . . if anyone can give me some real insight into how the plane flies I'd appreciate it. A direct comparison between the Comp Arf Super Extra would really help, since that was the best flying plane I've ever owned. So. .back on thread here. . anyone care to step up and give us insight into IMAC only flying with this bird???

Its a bad situation all around. The pilot is angry and hurt so give some leeway on the short term let the things be taken care of and then come to terms with what happened. I know im not the best person in the world and i would be unruly angry with the person even when they have done what they can do. In time i wouldn't be angry, when things are bought and a new plane was taken shape. Some people can handle these things with more grace ie the one known by a single name Wayne but unlike wayne I cant and i know theres other people out there that need to be mad for some time before they can let it go.

I know we are trying to get back on track here.... i look forward to more info on this plane as i prepare to set mine up..... However, i can not resist (and i do not know Bodyworks personally either) but i have to say what he is doing is DEFINATELY GIANTS STYLE!
What more can i say, it's only my opinion so take it for what it's worth, but it was an accident! Geeezzz relax, already.... He, after replacing it with all new gear is definately entitled to the carnage...... why the heck not? Thumbs up Bodyworks, if i ever get shot down, i can only hope it would be from a guy who comes on a public Forum and says he's going to Fess up, especially when it seems like alot of you know each other from fly ins, etc!

Well I am not sure about IMAC in the SE. If I had time I would fly IMAC. Right now all I care about is 3D and freestyle. I can have some good IMAC pilots give my plane a go and let you know what they think. There are some really really good IMAC pilots in my area that I probably dont need to name.
For me I could never take flying a big toy plane seriously enough to ONLY compete. I would rather spend my time just flying 3d and freestyle. Maybe a little scale flying in there also. My hats go off to the people who do compete in IMAC as it takes a lot of skill. I just dont have the time to commit to it. For me its just that a hobby and something to enjoy in my free time

WHOA FELLAS! I happen to know both parties who are involved in this very well! Nick and Howard are both incredibly reasonable people, and this shouldn't be aired publically. Guys, I respect you both very deeply, but let's take this offline please, and preferably to PM, email, or the phone. The situation sucks, and I totally sympathise with the situation, but we don't want to be party to making enemys within the hobby.
Thanks fellas, Max

I am building my WH in the yellow scheme and will set it up only for IMAC.
I just mounted the engine today but am also building a patern plane for this year so it wil be slow progress. There are a few in the SC that are flying the WH and like it very much. Chuck |

If anyone can compare them, he can. I will say this much. He is the one who convinced me to use the pocket hinges on this plane, because he said that he really disliked the way top-hinged ailerons work and how difficult it is to trim a plane with asymmetrical ailerons. Tom Fawcett Wild Hare R/C |
