I balanced mine on the wing tube. You can do this with everything on by not attatching the wings all the way and lifting the plane from either side of the wing tube with a string around the wing tube.

Put the wings on the wing tube without the fuse, just the wings. pull a string fromend to end watching that it parallels the wing tube and passes directly over the centerline of the tube.
Mark the line at both ends. No w you can put the wings on the plane and have a helper assist you picking up theplane by the tips where marked. TF |

Tom comes up with some great tips!! I usually measure back from the leading edge and put a small mark using a black felt-tip pen. Do both sides. Put some masking tape length wise neat the root abut where the CG will be. Then, I take some masking tape and tape the string down over the mark, pull the string tight placing the string over the mark on the opposite wing and tape it down. Then you can make a mark on both wing roots and on the masking tape back abit that is directly under the string. Now you have a mark for your CG machine or holder or whatever!! This technique has worked from me many times and everytime the first flight was right on!! Good luck. Bobby |

Thanks! Its nice to have a paved runway. The only drag about the new field is you have to make several trips to get your gear out. There is a canal that divides the parking area from the field area. Cant complain other than that.
On that day I think it was like 100 degrees. |

Have you checked with Tom at WH??? If he doesn't have any, then you can get replacement gear at Graphtec or TNT Landing Gear...
