Man you have to warn people before you throw up some gruesome crime scene photos like that. I almost hurled.

Jack, that is one of the downsides to these, if they go in there is no fixing them Here is a shot of my first one, and it doesn't look as bad as yours.

Redundancy, Redundancy, Redundancy. Add another reciever in that new bird!!! Dont want to loose a plane like that cause you skip out on a reciever.

If not, then I'll probably use a Seiko servo on the rudder just like I have on my two 37.5% Yaks. Just exploring options.

Thanks,

Sorry for the delay. The servos are working absolutely great back there. I only fly IMAC, so I haven't tried a knife edge pop-up or anything.

The new one will have 2 recievers without a doubt!! It would not be as bad if I knew what brought it down.

One thing that I did learn from it is the aileron hingers are faulty. There was way to much ware in them for no more flights than I had on it. It was the one thing that was stoping me from getting new one. I called and talked to Tom and asked him about this and they have corrected it and added bushings in the hinges. They also went to a foam core wing. After hearing that I said send it to me.

2 in the tail would be enough for IMAC, I would say all depends on CG.

Howie---go with the two in the tail!

That's how my 42% bird is setup and most Daltons are done that way also. It was actually easier to set this up than running the cables

Sorry to see the rekit, I know the feeling all to well. Does anyone know if if there are updated stabs? There seems to be a wear problem there too.
