It would be nice if someone could post the weight out of the box. It would need to be around 8 3/4 to come out at 15 3/4 all up dry.

Can someone do me a favor and measure the diameter of the cowl? I have a 3W 56 that I'd like to put in one of these and I'm curious how much the spark plugs caps are going to stick out.

I still have and I'm still flying it, but I always wanted one of the EF Yaks and now I can have a similar one that I like the covering scheme better on anyways. I'm going to wait to see what EF comes out with first. It's rumored that they have an Edge and and Extra 300 in the works and I want to see them before I buy anything.
Oh, and I'll be keeping the CAP if I buy another airframe. Can't be the stability in harriers and I love flying it. |

Obviously, if you use a CF prop, aluminum spinner, pitts muffler, and/or install the wheelpants, it will only help with the minor CG issue. Bottom line, while getting the CG right is a little tricky, it can be done without adding dead weight.
