Default Plane for old ZDZ 80

Hey guys I have a ZDZ 80 that im hoping to get repaired by RCS anyways I sold the plane it was in because the motor blew up and it made me want to punch something everytime i look at the plane and say i cant fly it because the sharp woody thing doesnt spin very well
Im getting it fixed and i want a plane 80-100cc to replace the old bird. I want a good IMAC plane and something around 1000$ or less.

snaproll

I have an old zdz80 on a wild hare 33% 260, I'm at 4300 feet here and it flys great. Stock built the plane came in at 22.5, I have never regretted buying that plane its a keeper.

Good luck

I'm partial to that one also. I havent seen anything as light for it's size yet. Mine is 22.5 built stock with a zdz-80. I could put it on a carbon fiber diet and ditch the pilot and lose another pound.

That engine would most likely fly the Comp-ARF 2.6 Extra well. Work on keeping it light with single aileron servos etc and you'd have a winner. The H9 Extra is good too; I had the older, heavier version and it flew well in IMAC. I have flown the 330S version with a ZDZ-80 and it was a good IMAC plane.
