If the shafts on the 160's are removable, then you can gang them all onto a common shaft and sync the windings with a D size battery.

Taken from a post by Mike Parsons:

"Syncing the motors:
The first motor is slid on the shaft and the set screws are marked. Remove the motor and flat spot the marks. Reinstall the first motor and install the setscrews.
Take the second motor and slide it on the shaft. Take a single cell battery (I used a C battery) and wire it as depicted by the diagram. This locks the first and second motor into sync. Mark the locations of the setscrews from the second motor and remove the battery and second motor. Flat spot the marks and then reinstall the second motor on the shaft and secure the setscrews. Now the motors are synced to the shaft. "

For 4 motors maybe just add the other two in series as per this diagram??

Wow. 4 160's on a single shaft? That's some serious power and some serious weight. Just the motors alone will weigh about 5.75 lbs. Now add the weight of the batteries (assuming you'll be running 12-14s and at least 10,000 mAh) and you can add another 7-8 lbs. If you reall want to do this then I would suggest looking into a single power plant like the Plettenberg Predator. Bernd Beschorner was using that motor in his Raven at the TAS and by all accounts it had great power. You might also want to email Splash at E-flightline and ask his opinion. For years now he's been testing different power plants in giant scale planes and is extremely knowledgeable in this area.
Good luck and keep us posted.

OK,.... I'm going to say this, and I'll probably get flamed for it, but, it is nearly impossible to get 4 motors and 4 ESC's to sync. At any given time the most you'll have is 2 motors sharing the load and the other 2 motors going along for the ride. The motors will fight against themselves. Sure, it works to a degree, that has been proven, but in the long run it's high maintenance. Only a few short years ago it was the only way to get the power needed for a giant scale plane. However with the advent of the new high powered electric motors(ie. Plettenberg Predator, Neumotor BAM etc.) the ganging of multiple motors, IMO, is obsolete. Why not keep it simple, single motor, single speed control.

actually i forgot its only a 32ish inch prop i gotta turn so 2 motors should do the trick.
