42% extra 300 build
well as if i dont have enough on my plate, why not add some more. i just picked up my new 42% extra 300 midwing QB last friday and am getting the fuse ready to build and thought id share it with everyone. yes im building a 35% edge and 42% extra QB at the same time
 . i have foam and balsa every where.

ok after the long weekend, i have got the fuse going fairly well. not really as far along as i would like but what can you do.

well yesterday i was having problems getting on here so loading pics today. got the fuse foam sheeted (monday & turtle deck tuesday) and the main gear blocks glued in yesterday.

today so far, i have the aft end of the fuse completed, main gear plate glueing and wing tube side fuse supports done.

well yesterday before i left for work i got a couple more things glued to the extra. i should be able to start sheeting the fuse tomarrow. today i finished up glueing all the stringers, and wing attach points in the fuse. ill be pulling it the board tomarrow morning sanding the fuse down and start sheeting. i cant get over how fast this thing builds up. ive spent a couple hours a morning for the past 4days and im sheeting this thing and should be fairly close to closeing it out before i go on my company trip next week. anyways anough of me boring you heres the pics.

thanks man, i have a aerotech velox that i flew all year in imac and love it, caint wait to get this bird in the air to get another good year of imac in 07. john, i did get it outta the shop. i dont think i will make it that far before my company sends me out on busness but im trying to get it as close as possible to being done before i go. i want to be flying it by the jan 07 IMAC practice day.

ok, here comes the fun part. ive got the front half of the sheeting glueing today. took all the weight off, sanded down the fuse sides and laid on sheeting. tomarrow i want to sand this down and lay out the wings to set the correct incdence then i can finish the wings and and lay the back half of the fuse sheeting on for sunday to set the stab incidence. then fisnish the stabs. sounds like a plan anyway. here is the pic of the sheeting glueing, cant see much for the weight but its there.
