Default Foamy for AXI 2204/54

I have an AXI 2204/54 laying around from my Hobby Lobby Edge foamy that met its demise from accidently having gasoline leak on it and I need a replacement... What are some bada$$ foamies out there for this motor combo. Either 2 or 3 cell lipo (350-700mah). Im looking for light, precise, fully aerobatic, and ETOC competitive. Any ideas?

The F3A by Ikarus is fantastic. With that motor and a small 2-cell, omit the landing gear, GWS pico servo's ,and a berg 4. That's what I've got in mine and my AUW is 6oz's. Fly's great, hovers at 1/2 throttle, fly's precisly and will 3D as well.

Just my $.02.

Cheers,
Dave

Hey John Fancy Foam is releasing Jason Noll's plane very soon. I think it would be a good match for that motor. I saw it in person at the JR indoor fest and it looked great. I am on the list for a couple myself. Check it out on their site. I'm looking forward to making the IMAC meets in your area this year.

Foxtrot! 6 ounces of 3D and Pattern perfection

Well it's my favourite foamy, and I've flown everything from Ikarus Yaks, to Byp Yaks.

Just my opinion. But I couldn't say enough good stuff about the model!

Oh and the only downside is that it's only available in plan form. www.sargesrc.orcon.net.nz

I have flowen a couple of planes with that motor, G.P. Reflection that i had built, and a Kestrel (Castle Creations Thunderbird). This motor is great on a airplane that is no more than 10oz. Just keep it light.

The Reflection in the First photo has the bigger AX, but it flys better with the 2204/54
The Kestrel LT (thunderbird) is a great airplane,
The last photo is the reflection with the 2204/54 at a F3P event in Southhaven, MS, also pictured is a Sentinal (Matchless Aero) , and a Kestrel LT (Matchless Aero)

I second the Xcalibur. I've flown quite my share of foamies, and the Xcalibur blows all of them out of the water.
