Default Air hogs Aero ace good kids xmas pres.

We had an indoor event last night and one of the slow flyer guys brought an Airhogs aero ace plane. The thing kicked serious ass for what it is. It uses thrust vectoring but it actually works properly. The thing flys for 10minutes on a charged, hit the wall prolly 10 times, had three midairs and keeped on truckin. It is so light it is indestructible in flight. I am getting one for my 4 year old son. the 2 channel TX is very easy to use.

Keep in mind that it is extremely light so I wouldn't fly outside unless it was dead calm.
The only small issue was the cg was to far back but a brass screw in the nose fixed it right up.
For 39.95 Canadian it is a steal

Yea, i took mine to a indoor flying session yesterday, and it hit the ceiling, basketball hoops, and it still was flying! Mine has some weight on the nose, but its still really tail heavy.

Their a blast to play with. I keep one in the car for the slow times at work. I fly it out back of the ambulance station. With practice you can do some fun things with them. Some of the things that I have played around with: Bouncing it off the building and flying out, spot landing on top of the car, even sliding one wing down the phone line coming into the building then chop throttle will make it do a roll. I have found that it is almost impossible to damage it by flying.

They are alot of fun. There is a bunch of mods that make them fly even better. Pull off the bottom wings and clip the top back to the interplane struts and it will greatly improve its flying speed and capabilities. We used to fly one in the back yard until one day it flew away...

Yes, They are a lot of fun! We had competitions like who can fly behind the projection screen and back. (2 foot gap!) Under the stage railings....3 people jumping over it on one pass etc. Find a large building and practice flying through halls and in and out of rooms!
It is definitely too tail heavy out of the box. Dont really know how they let that happen. It can turn much tighter this way, but it is not very easy to fly without practice until you fix the balance.

Yes, they are a blast!! My 6yr. old son is on his second one of the year. Not because the first one broke but because we flew the snot out of it and had to replace it. You can't beat it for $30 bucks, flies pretty darn good stock with the applied nose weights.
