Default Aviation Models 35% Giles 202 build

Sammy of Avistion Models has done it again with there very light and strong 35% Giles 202. I was looking for the biggest and lightest airframe that I could fly with a 3W 75 and still have good performance. So I ordered an all white 35% Giles 202, which is a very nice feature that I could pick my own color. I have built two Aviation Models, and as some of you know the fit and finish on their plane's are awesome. and most of the time consuming building ,fitting and alignment of major parts has already been done. As time goes on I will be putting up more pictures of the building of my first 35% Giles 202.

The first thing I did was to mock it up to see just how big a 35% Giles would be, and check the fit.

Here is another nice feature, the firewall has the right thrust built into the engine box and it is molded into the fiberglass cowl, which makes for a nice and even fit between the cowl and your spinner. Heres a shot of the engine box.

Bob, can you take a close up pictures of the canopy deck floring?? I cant quite read what it says in there. Maybe you can decribe to everyone what this exact saying means and where it came from LOL. I think it adds a personal touch to things LOL.
Plane looks great and look forward to all the pics!!

Josh, Why yes it is another Aviation Models airplane. I believe it's the very first 35% Giles 202 built and flown in the lower 48 from Aviation Models. I need some of their water so I can get off my dead ass and build these easy building arfs quicker.
Hey Josh, It was nice to meet you and I'm glad you made it up with Garrett for the early morning flight at our field, you really know how to handle your plane. Next time Tailchaser and I will come to your field!

Bob

Yeah, he's built 2 planes for me, one was a 3W 330S Extra and my 35% Aviation models Yak and both not only fly great but look great too. Bobs as close to a professional builder as you can get.
Professional, means you get paid for it and I'm way too cheap to pay him.........j/k
I know it flys as good as it looks too.
Nice job Bob.
