I've got to know how all you badass electric pilots get into gyms, hangers,...ect. I am having all kinds of trouble getting a place to get some pratice for the up coming electric season. I can only fly once a week, in a place across town. And it's not going to cut it!
What are your techniques on getting in? Paying money, offering to do a class for the school, or taking up a new religion? Come on tell me your secrets on getting in!

Luck. A friend who we fly with ended up with a connection to an indoor golf/soccer dome. We fly almost every Sunday evening (late in the evening mind you)
Myself and two others put together a propasal to fly at a different dome about three years ago. The owner wanted $400 for two hours and this was with the heat turned off. Fortunately the connection above worked out. It's a blast. We're even planning an indoor fun-fly in March! What you might want to do Plank, is to approach the place and ask about late night times where you are not interfering in other already scheduled activities. Best of luck.........Mark |

Thats a good point, but the problem I see is that without knowing someone there, they might not be willing to let a unknown person alone or with another friend, in their building. I've put out some interest to my friends to see if I can get a third friend hook-up into a building. Thanks for your input!

we just book it
Charge flyers 5 quid, then it covers the cost of the hall, and if i make money i can put it aside in case we are down on numbers another time. comprende |
