Default Airplane Trimming

Hello FG IMAC Friends,

When trimming your airplane, where exactly do you have your throttle positioned?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Ifly,

I always start with my throttle at the mid power range. After the initial trim is done, I see what effect the top and bottom end have on the plane. This gives me an indication if the thrust line is correct or I need to return to basic set up and start again. There are better qualified people to answer you and I am sure they will chime in. There has been some good information on here in the past and some links to "trimming pages" on the net. If you do a forum search for trim you should get plenty of reading to keep you busy for a while.
