Actually the rudder and elevators are the same size on all of our 35% they just have different sized counterbalances. I guarantee you will never have a problem with our flying surfaces being effective enough.

Honestly I think the panzl may 3D a little bit better because of the flat sided fuselage. The 40% presents better like every 40% compared to a 35% would. We are actually going to put another panzl together for this season.

FYI the first 2:10 of that video is the Wild Hare 121" Extra, then the Sukhoi is on there for 4 minutes.

Power was a brand new (maybe a gallon) BME 115 on stock mufflers, PT 28x10. I am not 100% sure, but think the sukhoi is around 26lbs or so. That motor is a hoss, love mine.

It's a BME-115. My first SU-26 plane weighed 26 lbs. 14 oz. with a DA-100 and canisters. I calculate that the BME with stock mufflers should/could be under 25 lbs.

I've been flying a Staudacher for several years now and can say it will do pattern and 3D very well. Its realy one of the better planes for both.

Get either of the other two. Once you see the Sukhoi fly you'll be wishin' real hard that you had it instead of any others.

Silversurfer, I settled on the Sukhoi and ordered it few weeks ago. It should be here next week. I really wanted the j-tech 330, but it wasn't available anytime soon and I had no interest in the panzel.
Sooo... I hope you're right and it will fly as well as the others.

I never used the BME, my DA-100 never had any baffling nor any problems.
