I got a manual, anything besides CG you need?
CG is 4.5 to 5.75 inches back from the leading edge at the fuse. |

Seriously, I threw my scanner away and the manual is not online yet. If you have built any giant scale aerobat before, there is nothing to it. CG is about the most useful info in it unless you need the step by step instructions for installing a Zenoah or need M. McConville to tell you how to do blenders.

I had saved from when I bought mine several months ago. It used to be posted on Hangar 9's website. I'm guessing they're updating the manual to accomodate the re-release of the plane.

would this plane be a good 1st giant scale for me, or should i go with a 27% extra 260?

I had the 260 and did not care for it. Quality issues (horizontal stab, hinge holes out-of-line, etc.)...and I didn't care for how it flew. I was glad to see it go! The 33% plane is only a bit more $$$ to put together (a couple more servos and an 80-100cc engine), and will certainly fly A TON better than the little 260.
Just my opinion...lots of people love their H-9 260...more power to 'um!!! Others will no doubt chime in. Good luck! Robert. DISCLAIMER: I have not flown the 1/3 CAP. I own and enjoy flying the 1/3 Edge. I like the construction and how well it flys. An under-rated plane. Best to you with whatever you choose! |

My advice is worth what you paid for it...maybe less!
Anyway, you're very welcome. Robert |
