I am looking for a decent new/used canopy, main gear and cowl for an Aeroworks 35% Extra 260. Color scheme unimportant. The canopy is what I need most.
I would appreciate any leads.

Thanks,
enniroc52

Figured I'd drop this video right here for you all to enjoy Happy to now be a proud Veloxity owner! This scheme shows up so well in the sky and the performance of this airplane is amazing. The characteristics of a balsa 3D plane with the durability of an EPP plane is something that everyone should have! Anyways, enjoy the video

The new FAA proposal of registering flying sites and not allowing any new flying sites to be registered a year after the regulations take effect will kill the hobby over time.

I've posted my letter to the FAA's discussion site but only 10,000 or so have done the same. There are around 195,000 active AMA members and the deadline to post a response is March 2nd!!!

It takes as long to post a complaint to the FAA as it does to post to a thread here. With a 5% response rate by our active membership they will never listen. Even at 95% they may not, but how many times do people complain about government and never show up to vote!

Please take the time to help save our beloved hobby! If you do, I would appreciate a quick reply here that you did. Eric

UnderCarriage was tricky. Carf could have done a better job--but I finally got the struts properly installed and off set.

Here I used Down & Locked with Sierra Spit Struts.

Carf doors were two bits of wood...not good for a scale model of this price. So I traked down Mick Reeves parts and built them up with some brass reinforcement struts and Hysol.

Here are the Spitfire wings set up.

I used Hitec 7950s for ailerons and Promodeler 420oz HV for the Flaps.

The flap formers 3D printed in Resin. They were Cadded by my son--

Hello Spdstr280Z, are you still out there? Some of your photos were very helpful. I hope you still have your old plans. Can anyone out there help me get a copy of sheet plans for the Lanier EXTRA 300s 25% RC model aircraft? I bought a kit at a swap meet but it was missing the plans. Other wise the kit was complete including the instruction set. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

How to make flying more intelligent , more interesting ,farther, safter ?

New Z3 flight control Nitro version was born to slove these problems. Z3 support 5 flying modes:

1, Retrum Home Mode: once actuated, the airplane flies back to the location where it takes off regardless of airplane flight attitude.

2, Normal Stabilization Mode: provide basic gyro function to the airplane.

3, Saft Mode: control the airplane with pre-set parameters including altitude and direction.

4, 3D Lock Mode: hold the position when actuated.

5, Autopilot Off Mode: pilot takes full control of the airplane.

More details please check link : www.dynam-rc.cn/Product/view/id/778.html

I had always wanted to try one of Twistedhobbys’ Clik for some time now since I was always curious in trying an indoor pattern airplane. Being a 3D pilot I don’t have a lot of experience in pattern airplanes and F3P in general but always wanted to give it a try. The Clik 21 is definitely the way to go if you are in the situation that I’m in of not wanting to break the bank on a high end expensive F3P setup and spending all the time building and designing.

With its simple and relatively quick build and the power combos that TwistedHobbys has to offer, this plane is the way to go for those wanting to test the waters in the pattern world! Also if you’re like me and crash a lot then the Clik is definitely more forgiving and easy to repair than almost all F3P contra rotating setups and models.

Another thing to definitely point out is the variety of setups that this airplane can take. whether it’s for those weight savers who want to mill the airframe out to the more fast paced pilots who want a faster motor to achieve a more 3d oriented airplane, the Clik 21 accepts any of these flying styles and or setups!

Be sure to check out this airplane as well as its power combos on Twistedhobbys.com. Also be sure to check out the Build and Discussion Thread on RCGroups.com!

I bought a Lanier 300s 25% at a swap meet a year ago but no plans were included. Any chance you may have a lead on where I might get a set? All the parts seem complete or available except for the plans. Your discussion of the plastic parts are interesting. By now you should be in the air; any word on how the plane flies? Irish Mike
