2011 Clinton Model Aviators Wilmington, Ohio - Fathers Day Fly-In (7 min 20 sec)

Man the rain in my area has been non stop, friday has been the first nice day with no rain or winds , I finish my work and went to my field, the Hawks, got one flight on my 40% Robert Godfrey Extra 300 and 4 flights on my QQ Yak 54 73'', didn't leave the until 8:30pm, now that we have three good days of no rain, my club is having a Heli Smack Down fun fly for two days , but two month ago I join another club, the Airmaster, now I can still get more flights in before it rain again for the next 5 days, here some pics from yesterday !!!!

Well it was 85 today, but winds where 30 mph, so I just ran the DL 100cc gas engine, and check the C. G., hoping to maiden it this week, will get the 40% Robert Godfrey out this week

Man what a nice for flying, the Godfrey had a nice day in the air, the new plane wrap really look good on the Godfrey, felt nice to fly it again, winter was to long , hope the weather stay nice !!!, here are some pictures !!!!!

Well the weather is turning back warm , I finally got my parts back from the paint shop, engine cowl, canopy, landing gear and wheel pants, its only been two months, and still there are mistake with it, but at this point, I don't care , I just want to put it back together and fly it , the days are getting longer, still need to find time to finish up the 33% Great Planes Extra 330 kit built model, its about 95% finish, but when its warm out and the winds are down, Im gone, heading to my home flying field

Well its going to be 47 today and cloudy, the REDS play the Brewer today, but Im heading to the air field today, had my new QQ Yak-54 with the Hobby King 30cc gas engine in it out the other day, Man that engine has a lot of power, it will hover at half throttle, and that was on the second flight, and the engine is not broke in yet, very happy with it, still mad that my 40% Robert Godfrey parts are still at the paint shop, been there for about a month now, getting tried of waiting !!!!!!, Need my baby back in the air, Im also still working on my new 33% Great Planes Extra 330 with the DL100cc twin gas engine plane, had it at the field, running the engine, not much left to do on it . then I sold my motorcycle a month ago, now I can use my enclosed 14X7 trailer for planes now, plans is to put a work bench and hanger for planes, my wife will love me for this, my planes are all over the house right now, there are is a much of fun fly coming up this year, hope make a much of them, if you are in less than 50 mile and your flying club is having a fun fly or a 100 miles let me know, Thanks Happy Flying

Man where is spring !!!!, its fun to fly off the snow but dam, its too much snow, I have 64 flights since Dec 1st to now 40 flights is off the snow, I need a break, need to get back to fly my Robert Godfrey 40% Extra 300, man i miss flying it, but for now back to flying off the snow !!!!!!!!
