Currenly flying an Aeroworks 90 to 120 yak. Plane is awesome. I want to move up to 50cc, I am considering the Aeroworks Extra 260 QB or thr Yak QB. I am having trouble which one to purchase because I like them both but I have not flown them. Can anyone shed some light? jb

So, here I am, starting my build thread from the roots......

Tony at Pilot-rc has been so kind, to provide me with the initial pictures, of what will become my YAK54 in my own design......

Going to update the thread with all the things I encounter while ordering, receiving, building, and finally flying the YAK. (I Hope I can leave the crashing part out of this thread......)

wat ways are there to check the balance on an aircraft that has a 88inch/2metre wingspan?

measure wing width at fuse and divide by 3? and do i need to invert the plane or will that work with the plane upright?

We have changed the amount of points that are needed to get a permanent ban from FlyingGiantsl.com from 40 to 20. Expired points do not count towards this total, so we only look at the currently active point total. We felt that a large gap from the 15 point level to the 40 point level was giving too much leeway for troublemakers and that it was difficult for a user to reach 20 points unless they were intentionally trying to get banned, so this change should not affect most users.

If you have any comments or concerns about this change, feel free to post them in the Site Suggestions / Complaints forum and we can discuss them further.

Hi guys

Wondering what the best iron on plastic covering is only been in hobby for about 1.5 years. Been thinking about using solartex on one of my models I've been given. Some questions on that then; whats the best paint to use? do you need to put a clear coat on it?

no doubt more questions to come.

Finally got some time in the gym so I could fly.
Motrolfly 2205-1750 with gws 8x4
Thunder Power 325mah 45c
HS-65 on ailerons
Hs-45 on elevator and rudder
This is my favorite set-up so far. The motor has really good power and comes down cool.
