Put the finishing touches on my new 91" Extra. This is my first 91" sized gas powered Extra. Wish I hadn't waited so long to own one. Incredible flying air frame! Super stable, yet very nimble.

Found a way to cram twin tuned pipes on a DA70 into my 91" Extreme Flight Yak.

Took a bit of fabrication, but I got 'em in! The pipe tunnel is 3 3/4" and each pipe is 2", so I had to open up one side which included removing a couple of formers.

Now if the weather would break!

Need help.

Trying to install smoke nipples on my DA70 wiht JTech mufflers. The mufflers have a designated spot to drill out for the nipples, which I did. However, I quickly learned that aluminum doesn't braise.

Thought about tapping it and just using a grease fitting but grease fittings have a ball bearing and spring which would not be good in the long run for my Sullivan smoke pump.

So now I have drilled mufflers with now way to install the nipples.

Any advice? Big regional fly-in this weekend that I would really like to attend...with smoke
