I just applied some decals that I think make my Cub look more real and cool as well....scale airplanes are fun to make and this one is not the exception

finished applying rivets (finally got the glue mix right), assembled the plane and it looks fantastic...also added a locking system (pretty easy) to hold the window open (not for flying though) and also got 2 videos of the lights working...

I just glued the fuel cap assembly on both wings, the pitot tube on the left wing behind the landing light as positioned in the real plane and started to test rivets...i am trying to get the elmer's glue and water mix correct...

Glued the window and now both window and door can close....i made it close tight cause some people said that the window and door tend to open mid-air.

I got some details: control sticks glued and functional, removable velcro seats.

Handmade seat belt (took me 2 hours) glued and fully functional, as well as pilot ready to fly....added a life vest as souvenir in the back of the cockpit too.

throttle levers installed, seat belt mechanism, headset, flap lever ....haven't glued the right window yet....maybe over the weekend

i am planning to apply decals maybe next week and therefore making it look more scale day after day...hope you guys like it..

Finally assembled cowling, prop and spinner. Getting the cowling to fit nicely took me 1 hour adjusting it....pain in the neck....it sure looks nice and ready to soar the skies....choke rod visible

I decided to go full scale in terms of the antennas, black one is a long range 5G and the white one is the COM one....some comments would be helpful and rewarding....also tried installing some scale rivets (screws) but i would love to get them 1 mm smaller though..

finished installing CDI wire and spark plug cable. Also i made a manual choke wire easily accessible through the cowling...also fuel dot in the cowling installed

Today I started to add scale details...looking forward to creating a very scale cockpit with seat belts, levers, etc....hope you guys like it...gluing canopy and windows tomorrow

I installed a red light on the panel to know when power is ready as well as a voltmeter so I can see battery level easily. Also installed second cover inside the fuselage to hide the tons of cables there. Any comments are welcome.... Looking forward to installing seats and pilot

I attached the wings and struts and they look ok....my baby helped me paint the tank tray and the back of the firewall.....next step is to star with the fuel tubing and tank setup

I just wanted to add another picture of how these tundra tires look like....really huge....i will not inflate them more than the original air they came with due to extra bouncing when landing...
