Description:

Twas the weekend before Christmas, been trapped in the house.
"There's a break in the weather" said my beautiful spouse.
I loaded my truck with speed and great care.
"Time to stand in a field and see how we fare..."

Called up McRandall and the good Sidekick Vic,
and then told them the plan, but they thought I was sick.
But off to the RAMS, let's hope for some sun,
All fueled up and ready, let's go have some fun.

My 92" Edge fired up with a roar.
15-20 can't stop me, this sucker will soar!
I probably should have practiced with these stupid Santa gloves,
Since my crankshafts and poptops sure needed some love.

But up in one piece, then down in the same.
My flying and outfit made me look insane.
Though my kind of fun, may be someone else's disgust.
Be true to yourself, always, you must!

Thanks to my family for standing by my side,
As I take them along for this wacky RC ride.
As the new year approaches and my stuff goes on the shelf,
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, now go "huck" yourself!!!

Twas the weekend before Christmas... (4 min 35 sec)

I finally got my workshop where I want it and am looking towards 2015 builds.

I have a 250 racing quad on the way, and a TopSky MantaRay on the bench to be built. As soon as it is off the boat and I can get my hands on one, I intend to build a 74" EF Edge EXP this year as well.

What is on your bench?

Each year I host NashBro, the world's largest profile plane event, in Leipersfork, TN. We have been flying in the pasture each year in September for the last 12 years. This year I decided it was time to have a float in the annual Christmas parade. My daughter and her teeny bopper girlfriends liked the idea of sitting on the parade boot of my 1976 El Dorado and throwing candy at people. I used suction cups to mount a Lamyak (from WrongWay RC) on the hood. We decorated the car, gave the kids bags of candy and off we went!!

Hello fellow builders, I'm usually a BUSA builder, but I've always dreamt about building a ziroli. I finally gave in and I'm about to receive a set of Ziroli Stuka prints. I am super stoked. New I have to decide which variation to go with. Leaning toward the "G" version. Always liked the tank buster.
As I said earlier, lots of 1/4 BUSA experience, and very limited experience sheeting with wood. Nervous.
Will take all the advise that is offered and I'm gonna have lots of questions.

Thanks in advance.

I live in Lake Havasu City, Arizona and in my day job I fly a new EMB-550 (Legacy 500) business jet. I also fly part time in a Gulfstream G-III and a Challenger 604. Slowly getting back into flying RC models for fun. For those who don't know me at all, you can learn more about me over on the RC Groups website. My profile there is "keithskye". You can look me up there and check out my trader rating and feedback. You can see it here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/itrader.php?u=34186

Aside from anything and everything that has to do with Aviation, I am also big into American Muscle Cars, sailing, boating, jet-skiing, working out and martial arts. My wife and I enjoy shooting and own a decent collection of pistols and rifles and go shooting when we can. I also have a collection of swords and other edged weapons and enjoy learning as much as possible about them, including how best to use them! LOL! There just isn't enough time to do all the things I have an active interest in, so I tend to go through phases where I focus on just one or two things until I get the itch to do something different or change up my routine.

Hi all I'm new here, old at RCG. I haven't figured out how to post pic's here yet, as this site is alittle different from the RCG site.

OK, I got it figured out how to get a pic up.

Here's what I got: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=494922 maybe it'll show up.

Below is a pic of the 2 planes I pilot. Both are Air Tractor 802. The small one is a Esprit Model kit.
