What a weekend, great flying, weather and what a field to enjoy. Wanted to thank all the folks that put on such an event; with work and support. Hot Springs RC was tops, my first time there, and what a back drop of scenery to fly. FG, 3DHS and Josh for putting it all together. I've made two this year and looking forward to next year. Great to finally get a chance to put faces to names and to meet SleepyC, that guy can fly...... a Trojan. Few pics I shot Sat. and Sun., we were almost the last ones out the gate. jed
To all.... Don't forget to fill out the AMA letter to your Congress person to tell them "No to proposed FAA restrictions" on model aviation. It takes just a few seconds and it is really is the only way to show a count for our hobby.Take it from someone that knows about the FAA and restrictions. Another example of we are here to protect you at any cost....including freedoms
Hello, Something new, my personal blog. I'm looking forward to a great year of flying. The calender is already filling up with some really exciting flys. I have been busy getting the planes ready for some huckin and a few for some precision...IMAC. Year number two and ready for some good old fun with the friends. I can't think of a better way to spend time with the son and hang out with guys enjoying the same thing....flying. Sam and I are lucky to have the chance to promote our hobby through participation in airshow flys with the Texas Heatwave. Answering questions from potential RCers, along with getting a chance to fly at the airshow. It's a great way to expose the hobby to many. I'll get some pictures up on the blog to make it more interesting....nothing better than planes in action shots. jed
