I have finished I think, on the main wing internal repairs. Re repaired the the top side of the nacelle, and the the engine covers. The engine covers took a while putting back together but they look good now. The control surfaces on the wing (Ail and flaps) are just about done, it ended up that both flaps were broken in the same place. I think that at one time the flaps were meant to be a split system like the real a/c, but there is very little room in that area for a decent control system. The wing as a whole is just about ready for primer. Feel free to join in,ask questions.

Here are a few pics of my big scratchbuilt P40N.
Built from Mammoth Scale Plans. Custom retracts, flaps, nav lights, detailed instrument panel, all wood, no fiberglass parts.
Weight about 42lbs
Sachs Dolmar 5.8ci
PPG Automotive basecoat clearcoat with an eggshell finish. All paint no decals.
I actually kept track of hours on this build. When all finished and added up, 2500 hours.
Also have the E model the same size.

Hello first thread so bare with me. Have a dle 35 ra that is temperamental. Will only run for a second. Next time run for 10 sec. One instance ran fine for a whole tank. Thought I was good to go, so I installed it on the plane. Now nothing but trouble again. I have replaced spark plug, and all ignition parts. What should I do?

Hey everyone! I recently purchased a hubsan x4 due to really good reviews online! and I have to say I'm really impressed! it is an amazing quad copter. I took it to a local park and pushed it to its limits to see how it would go! I was really impressed, take a look at my vid and let me know what you think.

How can u know when it the right time to move up to a cp helicopter? Rightnow I'm flying a fix pitch helicopter that I been flying for about a month witch is a blade 120sr. Is it true that just casuse u can fly a cp helicopter on a rc flight sim and do 3d don mean that u could do the same thing with a real cp rc helicopter? I know from flying rc planes that it harder to do things with them when u flying the real thing instead of the flight sim even if u are not scare of chushing into the ground.

I found a few pics of the fuse at the start of construction,at the time I built several fixtures and used a laser to line everything back to straight. Ive also added a few pics of the tail repair. The type of damage here is pretty much the same as the main wing, which I have to open the wings to get the the repair started.

These are a few pics from the rebuild. As you can see the nose was just gone. The nose tip is all that I had to work with. I rebuilt the fuse some time ago and I don't have many photos of that time. The nose section has been rebuilt for the most part except for the fine details on the inside of the cockpit. The The horz stabi next, not too much damage there. then on to the main wing. More info as I move on.

Thanks for visiting, but I keep most of my plane data in one place, and that has turned out to be on RC Groups. Please see my blog there!

Almost the end of the winter here in England, So I thought I'd better get my editing done before the real fun starts again.

Fairly laid back this time, almost no aeros. Hopefully a nice "vibe" though and lots of interesting summer / winter things happening in the landscape

Hope you like it
