my name is aidan mcatamney. i live in a small country town called kilrea which is situated in northern ireland. i first became interested in rc flying as a result of my great interest for kite flying when i was younger. i flew all types of kites from i was 7 years old right up until my thirties. im now 46 and i started flying just over 6 years ago and taught myself to fly on a multiplex easystar. an electric trainer i would highly recommend to anyone thinking about starting this great hobby. i still have my easystar and still enjoy flying it. i then moved up to a multiplex twinstar 2 which is also a fantastic plane to fly. i equipped both these planes with brushless motors. they are really nice stable flyers and very durable being made from elapor foam. since that i have just recently took an interest in ic flying. i have just bought a new os 56 alpha four stroke as i like the sound. im looking around for a suitable trainer for this engine. so far i keep leaning towards a kyosho calmato trainer 40. i think this may be a good plane to start my ic experience? .
