In the first time I used just 3 high intensity leds and the result was bad, I didn't see nothing. Now I used glow wire and 6 high intensity leds in the tip of the wing. The vision of the leds were good, but of the glow wire were nothing. The final solution will be use high intensity leds only.

Does anybody ever use a choke / rf filter on all your servo leads or at least your throttle servo? Or there also called farad beads(sp), (you know those round cylinder things that you would probably see on laptop computer power adapters.) I'm using 72mhz and i'm just trying to take precautions here to avoid as much interference as possible. I know that this rf choke will deffenetly help keep out interference from going back into the reciever, but i don't know if it would weaken the signals to the servos or not. That's the main concern and why i'm asking.
So does anybody ever use one of these devices ever? Please let me know

thank you soooooo much,
Matt

Well if you have looked at my post count you can tell I don't say much unless I have something significant to say.

I have been in the hobby, an officially AMA member since 1983. This past year was the roughest year of my hobby days. Although I put three new planes in the air, I spent more time on the local Club's Board Of Directors. I was trying to deal with some nasty politics and in fighting within the club. Several interactions with an attorney and a dozen emergency board meetings almost had me ready to look for a new flying site.

I have to say for anyone faced with similar circumstances, keep focus. It's about the flying. If you have some one in the club that's in the club because they like controlling clubs, and make it all about how they are the club. Beware.

But retrospectively looking back, I would be willing to go through all of that pain and agony again so members of the club can fly.

Hell, I would want someone to do it for me.

I am currently a junior in high school. I have all honors classes except english. My average GPA is 4.3. I am dual enrolled at the #1 community college in the nation also. I have alot of extra math and science credits and just recieved my PSAT scores and i got a 175 and scored higher than 75% of everybody who took it. Which college would be good for me since i want to be an aerospace engineer. I've looked a little into embry riddle and penn state and a couple other colleges.

Alright, as yall know christmas is almost here and I'm broke! I have a specktrum dx6i and I do not trust it in my gas planes! I just feel the radio and reciever is built cheaply and I'm going to buy a jr9303 after the holidays. At any rate, until than i got to make due with what I have. I have flown the plane twice with the ar6200, y-harness with a built in servo reverser on the elevators (big no no), dual batteries plugged right into the reciever which leaves me fresh out of channels. My question for you experts: Is it possible/safe for me to run TWO ar6200 recievers in the plane that way i can run one side of the plane on 1 reciever and the other half on the other?...also assuming i can bind both of them at the same time which I will soon find out! That way if i fry a reciever i can limp it home. I just have great concerns since I'm running all Hitech digital servos hs-5945mg on one dinky reciever.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Mike

I'm getting ready to start building a 40% TOC series Extra 260 from ACE HOBBY. I plan to equip it with either a DA-150 or 170, and 2 Hitec HS-7955TG's for rudder and Hitec-7885MG's on the other control surfaces. Does anyone have any suggestions for this particular build? Battery setup,etc...

Thanks

1. Can be charged with 5C-10C rates, recommend charge rates with 2-3C;<O</O
2. Continuous discharge current up to 40C with excellent performance and reliability;<O</O
3. Lower weight, longer lifecycle and higher discharge voltage platform.<O</O
