I am just dropping off a little blog note here. Some folks that frequent FG love 3D EPP foam planes. Well, you may not have known that Twisted Hobbys has released yet another Cody Wojcik designed 3D masterpiece. The Crack Laser was so popular and well behaved that it became, and still is, a big favorite among Twisted pilots. The new Crack Laser Pro is a Super Lite version and able to be flown indoors and out. You aren't likely to find a more agile and capable plane. With the power combo (includes servos, ESC and motor) you get a plug and play monster. Cody went over all the moments and made all the necessary tweaks so that the performance really shines through for this new super-lite setup. Get the Twisted combo and you have plug and play simplicity AND outstanding performance. It rips. You gotta fly it to believe it. You can let your grandma fly around real slow and then take the transmitter and go off into the most crazy freestyle you can dream up. So, we welcome the magical Crack Laser Pro to the Twisted Hobbys lineup. It's a great plane outdoors when weather permits but, as long as you have an indoor place to fly, you will welcome winter weather with this bird in your arsenal. It's probably the best indoor freestyle/3D plane out there for this coming indoor season.

Here's the latest design from Cody Wojcik and the Twisted Hobbys crew. It's all EPP and it puts a smile on your face from the minute your box arrives. Epic looks and character are highlighted by the extreme performance you've come to expect from all Twisted Hobbys offerings. The antics achievable on this plane are epic. Depending on your transmitter, you can do flaps, spoilerons and you can get really tight loops from adding an elevator to flap mix with a couple levels of throw should you be able to assign it to a 3 position switch. It's been a while friends and it's been about exactly a month since we arrived at Nall. Now here I am back and finally finished taking about 4 hours of high energy video and chopping it up in little pieces that are hopefully going to keep your eyes glued to the screen for the next 10 minutes or so. Here she is. Twisted Hobbys and Cody Wojcik have produced my new favorite Park flying sized foamy. It's a 43" wing and it's all EPP reinforced by carbon. It's a real fun kit to build. I am flying on 3S Pulse 2250 mAh 65 C Packs. Other than that, I'm getting real good power from the Twisted 100g 1050kv. Serious fun. Servos have been bulletproof. The flights here are from DAY 1 with this plane. So,I know this is one we will be talking about for quite a while as the highest performance foamy out there. Enjoy the vid.

Veloxity - The Time Has Come (5 min 11 sec)

Hello everyone. Another little vid to show off the extreme characteristics of this fun new foamy from Twisted and RC Factory. It's a real sweet setup. I'm flying 9x4.2 Carbon props from PT (available at Twisted) and TP 325 mAh 2S packs that are 70c (Magna Series). It's very lite but you can fly it outside in light breeze. Real cool

THE EDGE V3 SUPERLITE (2 min 59 sec)

The new EDGE 540 V3 from Twisted. This plane is really going to be sweet for indoor this year. It does vector the motor off the rudder servo if you want. Super Light, thin EPP, just enough carbon to make it strong and you know, like all TH products, it's durable. Tried it out in the outdoors on a 2S 360 and liked it. Indoors, it's going to be great. Just got it trimmed and looking forward to seeing some new motor packs in the mail soon. In the vid, it is all stock with the Twisted Digital power combo and it is vectored.

Here's a video we put together to show off our North East Region's finest contest of the year, the regional finals we know by the name of Black Dirt. It's situated in Goshen, New York centered in some lush farmland for sure.

The video includes freestyle flying by greats like Tyler McCormack and Chris Thorpe. We always like to shake off the contest jitters and throw down some high energy freestyles before we head home.

Bittersweet to have a great time and yet to also know it will be quite some time before we see each other again to compete.

2015 IMAC BLACK DIRT VIDEO WITH AWESOME FREESTYLE FLIGHTS (7 min 8 sec)

RC FLITE LIGHT NIGHT SHIFT (4 min 34 sec)

Hey guys, got a chance to try out what is now the best light system design for your high performance fixed wing machine. RC Flite Light has THE light kit to use since it has no ligths on the tail, no wires to run back there and it also has no drivers. You can run each wing off of a separate pack. Should one take a hit, ot go out for whatever reason, you still have one to use while bringing her around for a landing. I got one flight on my set so far and the night was cloudy and pitch-black. Here is some edited video of the flight. Hope you enjoy.

Here is a little video for our new-found friends in State College PA and for all the IMAC pilots really. The State College Remote Control Club is awesome and is now a great asset to the North-East IMAC Community. Now, this is a HUGE field. It's great to have the opportunity to fly with so many GA pilots and to see all the full scale planes coming and going during an event. We had a blast and can't wait until next year. A special thanks to Jon Guizar and all the SCRC Club members for hosting a first-class event. It's pleasure to fly with you all. Best contest in forever!!! Fair skies and calm breezes to you all.
