is there any disadvantage to using the angled plugs, looks like they are smaller than the NGK ones.
The plugs on the angled plug version does use smaller plugs. It comes with a note saying the plugs are secured with loctite and only remove if necessary because it is easy to strip the threads if too much force is used when putting them back in. I haven't had any problems with the small plugs though.

I put another 1/4 gallon through it today and it's running GREAT! It really pulls the 78'' Extra around nicely.

Not sure but I read on rcuniverse that if you want one you should call valley view and pre-order. They said they do small batches to keep quality control up to their standards and they sell out faster than they can stock them.

Hey Guys......after ordering mine today only 2 left. Hope to put it into a 3DHS 71inch AJ Slick or Aeroworks 35 CC Extra 300. Can't decide. To make matters worse, Redwing R/C will have a new 75 inch Slick 540 available soon also. I'm gonna be up al night trying to decide what to buy!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw several planes with these installed and every one of them were flawless with the exception of one that just needed its pickup sensor adjusted slightly to get the timing corrected..quick and easy fix. The Engines were running great all weekend at the Wenatchee huck. Plenty of power for a 30-35cc sized aircraft.

Very cool looking engine with those twin red heads.

Red heads ??? Do the new VVRC 40cc Twins have red heads? The ones I've seen online all appear to be finished in natural cast aluminum color. Nice touch though, if they do

the one I saw with the cowl off had red heads.
Not sure if its a new thing, or an early prod run. Looked very cool. two tiny 20cc jugs. Looks like this engine would fit in a great many 30-35cc cowls.

Still can't decide what to buy for it. I have an old Sig Cap 231 EX with a DLE 30. Maybe try it in there first then something new for next summer.
