Kevin I would strongly agree ! Not a fan of the Yak have always liked the Sukoi 26MX but this is by far the sweetest round cowl plane I've ever seen! Does it have a Tuned pipe tunnel or just canister?

I don't know about the tunnel. I haven't seen the 62 in person. It was designed by Quique before he left Horizon. Not sure who is taking point on the 62 now but someone there can answer questions on the model.

I created the concept of the airplane, sizing, the name and the general features. Quique aided in the sizing of surfaces and Mirco slicked up the shape and styling. After that, Quique created the designed for the 280, 33 and 62 RC sizes. My understanding from Quique was that the Inverza flies better than any other in this class that he had flown. His favorite so far.

The full scale airplane is designed around the Model 12 fuselage structure. It is steel tube with composite shells much like an SU26. However, it is set up to be both 2 place and single seater. This RC model, as the 33 and 280 before it, are designed to show only the single seater canopy set up. This would be the lightest version, most performance hotrod set up.

In the reality of full scale airplanes, one that has 2 seats holds value far better than a single seater. Most hardly take a passenger but want to know they can or need to justify the airplane to the wife. So, this is why I designed the full scale to be able to be converted to a 2 place when needed. The RC models from Horizon are single place style only.

it would be IMAC legal when the full scale plane has been built... having it flown seems arguable, but to read the rules its intent it for sure that it does need to exist.

6. Proof of Scale:
6.1: To prove that the model resembles a particular aircraft some proof of scale is required.

nice looking airplane. I would buy this in a heartbeat if it was 104-107 inch wing. that would be a bad ass looking machine.

Really nice job. I REALLY want one. I wish horizon would make a plane for the new 70cc twins hitting the market. Maybe 92in and 1800 of wing area. Hint hint lol

Most of my planes are yellow and purple already, so I admit to some biases.
