XFC is Back!

From Frank Noll

The original XFC was started in Troy, OH in 2004 and continued on till a short pause in 2015. Since that time, there has been a demand for this type of competition in the US. Recently it was decided to reincarnate it for 2019, but not in its original form. There were changes we wanted to implement, as well as trends in the hobby that would bring additional interest to the event. So the “team” aspect was introduced as well as bringing in a new segment utilizing turbine powered jets. We’re very excited with the response to the new additions, as is noted by the increase of International pilots participating.

The XFCv2 date is set for July 26-28, 2019. The host club site is the Monticello RC Club, in Monticello IL. Horizon Hobby Distributors has graciously come onboard as the XFCv2 “Anchor Sponsor” and has been a huge help in securing the site as well as supporting the event. The International Teams bring a new element to the XFC that we’ve not had before, as they have commitments from some of the best pilots from around the world. Here is your chance to see up close and personal what the rest of the world has to offer in RC. We really look forward to what this new format brings, and hope you will come and enjoy it with us.

XFC new location

Little too far to travel. Troy to Muncie was enough of a change, won't be making these trips.
Good times though. How about having this Venue at the Air Force Museum where the DOGS show is held?

Never was at WPAFB. Started at Waco Field, in Troy.

It's a big country, not every event can be in your backyard. Four hours is nothing if it's something I'm interested in.

That's useless, why not answer with the correct date?

It's 18-21.
