@Judge~ I see a bunch of new rx's on FUSA website, what would you recommend these days for ultralight indoor flyers, like Crack Laser Pro and others in the F3P category?

What range could be expected with that new 6004?

I've used the 6004 in a couple of smaller 3S planes. They would be fine for indoor flying. ANd they are very small.

I love my 18SZ , a work of art! Fit and finish. Been a Futaba flyer since 1973.

I just ordered one of these with a second R7008SB.You can get the 18SZ from tower for $1349.99 in a thin cardboard box. Nice to have the case and the extra receiver.

Anyone know how long this deal will last? Might just go for one of these if this is still the price when my taxes come back.

It's a NiMh.... 5 cells at 1.2V each = 6V

Not sure what this is in response to, but the 18SZ comes with a 2S 2,100 mH LiFe pack.

Besides the aluminum gambles, is there any other difference? How important is the gimble upgrade? My 12FG is still running strong after 8+ years of use. I would guess it doesn’t have aluminum gimbles. The regular 18SZ is on sale for $999.99 with a 7008 receiver. No strap or case. Big difference in price.

The only tangible difference are the gimbals. There is a special logo on the screen and a different exterior treatment. All the programming is identical to the 18SZ.
